I view the Bible as literature. Like all spiritual works, it consists of philosophers writing down a compilation of knowledge.

It is very hard to argue that almost all of it did not come from the Greeks, Hindus and other pagan cultures in the middle east.

That does not invalidate any of its contents.

Philosophy / Introduction To Nihilism

Quote

Among the possibilities that scare humans the most, the potentiality of no meaning — no inherent values, no innate truths, and no possibility of accurate communication — unnerves us the most. It means that we are truly alone with nothing to rely on but ourselves for understanding this vast world and what we should do in it. This belief is called nihilism.

Nihilism rejects the ideas of universalism, rationalism and empiricism which have ruled the West for centuries. These ideas arise from our social impulses, or the desire to include others as a group and motivate them with what is perceived as objective truth.

Universalism holds that all people are essentially the same, and therefore that values are a matter of respecting the choices of each person, truth is what can be verified in a way a group can understand, and communication relies on words which have immutable meaning. Rationalism supposes that the workings our minds can tell us what is true in the world without testing, and implies universalism, or that the workings of our minds are all the same. Empiricism, now linked to its cousin logical positivism, states that truth is only found in observable and testable, replicable observations.

This address the confusion people have over nihilism, dark organizations and the black pill.

Philosophy / Re: Replace word "conservative" with "traditonalist"

Western civilisation is doomed and however you perceive the imminent urgency, you're likely to have a plan if it burst in your existence.

I am curious as to whether or not, the american continent will break apart in civil warfare like in the balkans war or succomb nuclear annihilation altogether. Or will be a moderate mix of nuclear destruction and civil war?

As much as I would like to answer this question, therein lies our topic issue :

In the case of any form of SHTF events forcing you and your immediates to abandon shelter and displace, will it matter whether or not you are conservative or traditonalist?

Chances are if you belong to a community and group by any means, your survival is more guaranteed.

At this point, if you've found sanctuary somewhere among a group, your survival then will be subject to your compatibility with the group and/or finally the groups foundations principles versus you.

"Conservative" will lose it's use entirely while traditionalism will thrive without the need for it's use.

Obviously, at this time I cannot advocate such behavior as I have abandoned it, but the magic formula was:

1. Hydrate thoroughly, 15-30 ounces of water.
2. Drink at least two cups of strong coffee.
3. Take a shot of whisky (equivalent: 2-3 beers).
4. Load up your bong with:
 (a) 60% strong Cannabis Indica
 (b) 30% well-cured (not brick) Cannabis Sativa
 (c) 10% tobacco from a good cigarette (State Express or Dunhill)
5. Take two "rips" of that, finishing the whole bowl

After that, go outside. Consume nothing else. The tip about having a full stomach is good, and should probably occur between steps 1 and 2.

They have to form thoughts, which are a type of belief, so: yes.

Succinct and something I never thought of.

Humanity dominated nature, so now all our predators and parasites are within our species. Hillary Clinton is more destructive than your average ghetto criminal. Interesting.

She would turn the military into an r-select caricature of the Barbarois and Jaba's Court.

Christ may not technically have been a Jew but Samarian monotheism is so similar most people would not recognise a difference.

Agreed.
